Nope, it was merely called thus because that is exactly what my diet-caffeine-free-coke was doing a couple of seconds ago: bubbling and squeaking.
...it was peculiar.
Life has been as uneventful as normal; I went to my grans' at the weekend. Guess what the highlight of that was? Starting and finishing Louis Sachar's Cardturner.
Cover-to-cover.

I just sat there and read it, pretty much none stop. It's pretty good considering the entire plot revolves around bridge. No, seriously.
Actually, if you have a card game obsession or just like reading anything, then I'd check it out. I knew next-to-nothing about bridge before reading, and I still found it very entertaining.
(though not it a edge-of-your-seat-what's-going-to-happen-holy-son-of-a-tart-EXPLOSIONS kind of way.)
Also, I'm still doodling (no suprises there). I'm attending a 3 hour manga drawing session this Saturday - it's been well over a year, maybe two, since I last went...I have improved a lot...
